Full description Our primary objective is to better understand the range, type and frequency of rituals commonly practiced by patients with an advanced illness and an estimated prognosis of ≤12 months. Secondarily, this study seeks to better understand what spiritual practices patients would like to have in their lives but currently do not. Thirdly, we seek correlations between patient/carer coping, quality of life and subjective spirituality and practices of rituals that are personally or culturally meaningful activities.
