With mental health problems at historically high levels for students, it is important to identify novel prevention solutions. Toolbox Education has been operating for 2-years and has designed a suite of evidence-informed programs that provide a universal, preventative approach to improving social and emotional development and mental health in school-aged young people. The following report describes the programs delivered by Toolbox Education, including the activities and therapeutic processes and evidence for the benefits of the suite of programs offered. Toolbox Education is identified as a well-designed and evidence-informed program feasible to be implemented for school-based mental health promotion. This report provides recommendations for further evaluation of the Toolbox Education program to enable its efficacy to be established.
