Brief description A high-performance stochastic scaled boundary finite-element framework for safety assessment of structures susceptible to fracture. This project addresses the reliability assessment of structures considering cracks caused by ageing and extreme loading that are affecting vital infrastructure. The outcome of this project will permit more rational decision making in the safe and cost-effective management of ageing infrastructure.
