Brief description

The Adelaide node of the Australian Plant Phenomics Facility, The Plant Accelerator, measures the growth and performance of hundreds of plants using automation and digital imaging, referred to as plant phenomics. To facilitate the exploration of those large image sets, often comprising thousands of entries, The Plant Accelerator uses Zegami, a browser-based visualisation tool. Images of individual plants are presented along with analysed image data, and metadata about the plant such as genotype, and treatment information.

Zegami enables researchers without programming skills with visualisation of phenotypic data sets; basic statistical analysis of large image sets; and instant outlier detection and pattern/ trend identification.
