This dataset comprises de identified demographic, clinical, and outcome data from the Youth Depression Alleviation - Combined Treatment (YoDA C) randomised, double blind, placebo controlled trial conducted in metropolitan Melbourne, Australia. Participants were young people aged 15-25 years with moderate to severe major depressive disorder who received 12 weeks of cognitive behavioural therapy plus either fluoxetine or placebo. Data were collected at baseline and at weeks 4, 8, and 12, including interviewer rated depression severity (Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale), psychiatric and medical assessments, treatment allocation, adherence, comorbid anxiety, and suicidal behaviours. The dataset includes primary and secondary outcome variables reported in the published trial analyses and is available in XLSX format for secondary research and meta analysis.
