Brief description

This dataset contains bird occurrence data collected at the Wombat Stringybark Eucalypt site in 2015.

Lineage

Bird surveys were conducted at the Wombat Stringybark Eucalypt site in 2015. Bird surveys were conducted using the Birdlife Australia Atlas survey technique: Birdlife Australia survey technique.  Four survey plots were surveyed. Each plot was 2 ha (80 m radius) with one centred on the eddy covariance flux tower and 3 plots randomly placed within1 km of the flux tower. Plots were surveyed for 20 min within 4-5 hrs of sunrise. All bird species seen or heard were recorded. Incidental records outside survey time and area were also recorded.
