Information from Aaron Read of the Australian Antarctic Division, surveyor and author of the reports:

The Wilkins Aerodrome serves as the Antarctic terminus of the air service operated by the Australian Antarctic Division between Hobart, Australia and Casey Station. In international terms, the Wilkins Aerodrome is a significant capability in East Antarctica, being capable of supporting the operation of heavy wheeled intercontinental aircraft.

It is a semi permanent facility, operating from October to March and is sited on the Upper Peterson Glacier some 65 km from Casey Station. It is located on an ablative area of the glacier and the runway foundation is natural glacial ice. The runway is 3200m long by 45 wide and has a surface comprising either ice, or a thin layer of tillered snow/ice. The purpose of this tillered surface is to improve surface friction.

The Wilkins Aerodrome is a certified code 3C runway (as determined by CASA - strip 3600m x 100m) and requires an accurate survey to reposition and mark the runway to enable the reopening at the start of each season. These reports, for the seasons 2012/13 to 2015/16, outline the methods used to reopen the runway and show the resulting position and prediction for the following season. The reports should be read in conjunction with the current Wilkins Aerodrome manual and the Survey and Marking procedure.

In addition to the reports, for each season there is a csv file with data from that season's survey of the runway centreline. The columns are Easting, Northing, Height above the Ellipsoid, Error (m).
