NPWS post fire recovery program funded by the commonwealth government and part of the WWF “Eyes on Recovery” program. The NPWS post fire recovery program, mammal camera trapping program within the Hunter Central Coast Branch aimed to undertake camera monitoring for mammals within post fire and refugia environments to inform future land management practices The WWF eyes on Recovery Program is a broad-scale monitoring program tracking the recovery of fauna across regions impacted by the 2019/20 Australian bushfires. This project will help to measure the impacts of the 2019/20 fires on Australian wildlife, determine whether wildlife populations are recovering, and will improve the resilience of these ecosystems by influencing management decisions Data accessed via WildObs (https://wildobs.org.au).
