Full description Camera trap data package from the Wildlife Observatory of Australia's Wildlife Camera Database. Dataset ID: QLD_Dwyers_Scrub_ANIM3018_2023_WildObsID_0005. This camera trap survey was conducted as part of UQ's ANIM3018 Wildlife Technologies course, where undergrad students were taught a range of different technologies to study willdife, including cameras. After a lecture learning about camera traps, the class took a feild trip to Dwyer's Scrub Conservation Area in the Lockyear Valley where the students deployed camera traps in roughly 4 clusters due to access. There was no standard method for setting cameras (e.g. features, distance between cams, etc) because this was a learning exercise for the students to examine how some deployments might gather more/less detections. Cameras were collected after several (4?) weeks, and then fed into Wildlife Insights.
