This data was collected as part of the longitudinal 'Life Patterns' study based at the Youth Research Centre, the University of Melbourne. In Wave 9, 625 participants aged about 31 years completed a survey. The questionnaire contained 20 questions covering life progress; current and last three jobs; reasons for job changes; satisfaction with life achievements, life situation, goals, commitments and work situation; and details of work history and definitions of a career.
