This data was collected as part of the longitudinal 'Life Patterns' study based at the Youth Research Centre, the University of Melbourne. In Wave 2, 1113 participants aged about 23 years completed a survey. The questionnaire contained 7 questions covering history of post-school employment; type of job; periods of unemployment; whether they returned to study; and the stage in life they had currently reached.
