Five communities are defined based on classification (Kulczynski association). These five communities were mapped based on ground truthing, air photo interpretation and landform. Brief description

Warialda CCAZ3 State Conservation Area vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in 2009 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. The Warialda CCAZ3 State Conservation Area is located 10km south of the township of Warialda.


The vegetation of the Stonehenge (middle) section of the three Warialda SCA/NP sections is described and mapped (scale 1:50 000). Five communities are defined based on classification (Kulczynski association). These five communities were mapped based on ground truthing, air photo interpretation and landform.
