Brief description

The Warialda CCA Zone 1 National Park and CCA Zone 3 State Conservation Area vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in 2012 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. The Warialda NP and State Conservation Area are located south of the township of Warialda. This vegetation map is in addition to the Stonehedge section which was mapped in 2009.

The vegetation of Warialda North (SCA) and South (NP) is described and mapped
(scale 1:25 000) based on SPOT imagery. Nine communities are defined based on
classification (Kulczynski association).
