Wards Historic - City of Greater Geelong

Brief description

By notice in the Government Gazette on 26 October 2000, twelve new wards were established in March 2001, with one Councillor to be elected to represent each ward.

A further review took place in 2008, and although ward boundaries were modified the structure remained the same. This structure came into effect at the November 2008 election as a result of an electoral representation review conducted in 2008.
