These minutes were created to document the debates, decisions and correspondence of the Country Roads Board War Relief Fund Committee.

The first page, dated 4 Aug 1916, states:

"At a meeting of the Members and staff of the Country Roads Board on 31 July 1916, it was unanimously agreed:

a) that the management of the Victorian State Service Patriotic Fund was unsatisfactory
b) that a Committee be appointed to formulate a better scheme "

The minutes also include lists of people from whom the Committee collected funds.

The last entry is dated 27 Oct 1921.
