Brief description

This project will engage skilled contractors to complement community activity in baiting, trapping and shooting of feral cats, rabbits and Western Grey Kangaroos to protect eight species of mammals and birds that have been re-introduced to Wadderin Wildlife Reserve. These include the Woylie (Bettongia penicillata), Red-tailed Phascogale (Phascogale calura), Banded Hare-wallaby (Lagostropus fasciatus), Western Brush Wallaby (Macropus irma), Malleefowl (Leipoa ocellata) and Bush Stone-curlew (Burhinus grallarius).
