This series comprises general correspondence files maintained by the City of Box Hill from 1927 to circa 1946. The files contain inwards and copies of outwards correspondence relating to functions of the municipality.

The files are identified by a two part number, corresponding to a subject area, and a range of years. The Index to the subsequent series (VPRS 9574) can be used to access a portion of the files in this series.
