Full description

Under the Sale of Crown Lands Act 1860, selectors could purchase one subdivision of an allotment and lease the other subdivision. This series consists of applications to purchase and to lease subdivisions under the Act on the pro forma as defined by the Schedules to the Act.

Details given on the applications are the declaration of payment, the location and extent of the land and the name, occupation and address of the selector. Attached receipts give details of the date, place and amount of the payment. Some papers have attached notes regarding the Crown grant of the land.
