VPRS 7364 Outward Correspondence to Beechworth Mining District

Full description

This series consists of outward letter books created by the Mining Department so that a copy of correspondence sent by it to the Beechworth Mining District was retained for future reference. Each book contains letter press copies of the item sent that were bound together. 

The majority of correspondence was sent to Mining Wardens throughout the district, but were sent to other officials such as Mining Surveyors when appropriate. This series was originally titled Outward Correspondence to Wardens - Beechworth District but this was amended during 2025.

It is unknown whether any volumes were created in this series after 1894.
