This series comprises Indexes (hard copy, P3 consignment) and Microfiche copy P1 and P2 consignments ) to Marriage Registers created to provide access to marriage registrations. The hard copy indexes were replaced by computer generated microfiche indexes in ? 1984 and by Lifedata, the computerised system of indexing in 1989. Microfiche copy of the index for the period 1853 - 1913 has been transferred as VPRS 7289/P1 and P2 consignments of this series. For hard copy see P3 consignment.
