Full description

This series contains minutes of meetings of the Coal Mine Workers' Pension Tribunal. Minutes include names of people present at each meeting, financial statements presented by the Registrar, details of accounts as per the appropriate Schedule, numbers which were passed for payment, suggested amending legislation and review of contribution rates.

The sole volume in custody documents meeting numbers 103-147 (1952-1957). Volumes documenting the first 102 meetings, presumably dating back to the Tribunal's establishment in 1909 and for meeting numbers 148 onwards until the abolition of the Tribunal in 1987 have not been located.
