Full description

This series records the receipt of stamps by the Legislative Council from the Postmaster General, and records the issue of these stamps as letters were sent from the agency.

The left hand page details the receipt of stamps from the PMG (date, number of stamps in each denomination). The right hand page details the postal item upon which the stamps were issued. This page shows the date, to whom sent (addressee and suburb) and the number of stamps in particular denominations used on the item.
