VPRS 4411 Copies of Registered Correspondence Relating to the Moravian Mission Lake Boga Aboriginal Reserve

This series comprises handwritten copies of registered correspondence regarding the Moravian Mission Lake Boga Aboriginal Reserve.

All of this correspondence concerns the claims for compensation by the Moravian Missionaries for their improvements at the lake Boga Aboriginal Reserve. The correspondence are copies of registered inward correspondence to the Chief Secretary contained in VPRS 4415 and registered inward correspondence to the Department of Crown Lands and Survey contained in VPRS 2896. Most of the original correspondence contained in VPRS 4415 and VPRS 2896 is notated as having been duplicated by the staff of Crown Lands and Survey (VA 538). Given the date range of the records, it is most likely that the copies were made after VA 538 was established in 1857.
