Full description

This series consists of a list of persons dismissed from the Public Service during the political crisis of 1878. In this crisis, the Legislative Council blocked supply to the Government leading to proposals to alter the Constitution Act to better define the powers of the Houses of Parliament and the Governor. Further records of this political crisis may be found in VPRS 4062 Crisis Minute Book.
