Full description

This series contains the building files for a number of Domestic Arts schools conducted by the Education Department.

Files may contain copies of requests for the provision of these centres including letters, notes of deputations, interviews and comments upon these by officials. Other papers may relate to the identification of a suitable site and its acquisition whilst a large proportion of correspondence on files in this series concern requests for renovations, repairs and equipment and copies of the requisitions issued for the provision of these. Much of the correspondence is annotated by action officers with indications of opinion and recommendations.
