Full description

This series comprises three outward letter books of correspondence sent from the Creswick Council. Copies were made by the letter press method and were subsequently bound together. Each page in the resultant volume was numbered and an internal index identified the recipient of the each letter and the page number(s) on which it is to be found.

All of the letters in unit 1 of the P0 consignment were signed by the Town Clerk. Letters in the remaining volumes were signed by the Shire Secretary.

Includes alphabetical index to Letters Sent at the beginning of each volume.
