Full description

This register records details regarding probates and administrations granted by a County Court rather than the Supreme Court of Victoria. All applications were for estates valued at less than 500 pounds.

Information in the register includes: case number, date of application, name and last address of deceased, description and value of property, names and addresses of plaintiff and practitioner, defendant or caveator, order or decree and to whom granted, date certificate and will fowarded to Master in Equity, names of obligors, date proceedings remitted to Supreme Court, appeal and results, remarks and date when inventories filed by executors.
