These were made available online via the directory and VRO website. Each survey had an entry with a table containing a number of associated metadata fields. These include Survey Title, Catchment Management Region and Local Government Area. These fields and related values are captured in the PROV item description. Not all surveys had values for each element. Most entries also had an associated web page with additional information about the survey. This page often included links to documents and digitised copies of the survey. Each entry also had a map that depicted the surveyed area. Maps are included in this series. Full description

This series comprises records of the Victorian Resources Online (VRO) Soil and Land Survey Directory. The Directory formed part of the VRO website. VRO was established in 1997 by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (VA 3972) and managed by Agriculture Research Victoria. The Soil and Land Survey Directory comprised technical reports, scientific publications, and historical land assessment surveys from the period 1930 – 2006. These were made available online via the directory and VRO website.

Each survey had an entry with a table containing a number of associated metadata fields. These include Survey Title, Catchment Management Region and Local Government Area. These fields and related values are captured in the PROV item description. Not all surveys had values for each element.
