This series consists of booklets and volumes of reports into marine incidents in Australian jurisdictions other than Victoria.

The records in this series were collected and maintained by the Board of Marine Inquiry (VA 1424), most likely as reference material for their own marine investigations. 

The records contain a number of published reports from the Commonwealth Court of Marine Inquiry, a handwritten index to decisions of other boards from 1893 to 1923, and a bound folder containing summaries of incidents in other jurisdictions across Australia and New Zealand. Entries in the folder can be identified using the handwritten index, although a large number of entries are not included or have been removed.
