This series consists of the records of the Technical Sub-Committee of the Victorian Electrolysis Committee (VEC, VA 5651).

The Technical Sub-Committee (TSC) was created on 11 October 1927 to handle field operations at the direction of the members of the Main Committee of the VEC. As of 2025, the Technical Sub-Committee is still in existence under the auspices of the Electricity Safety Act 1998 as administered by Energy Safe Victoria (VA 4827).

The records document their monthly meetings. The TSC covers the technical component of electrolysis management, such as testing and applications, and is represented by owners of the industries that deal with electrolysis.

The series also contains records of the Works Liaison Committee which is managed within TSC.
