This series consists of the emails, sent and received, of the executive officers of the Office of the Special Investigator (OSI) (VA 5326).  

The executive officers of the OSI included the Special Investigator, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officers, Chief Counsel, Chief Investigator, Chief Technology Officer, Deputy Chief Counsel and Director, Legal and Governance.

The emails document all areas of work by the OSI, such as the operations of the OSI, the conduct of investigations, and the establishment and decommissioning of the OSI. Key decisions of the OSI are also documented within the email records.
