The publications in this series were produced by Templestowe High School (School No. 8375) (VA 5303) and provide an insight into the activities, culture and curriculum of the school at a certain point in time.
The series may include yearbooks, sometimes referred to as ‘school magazines’, prospectus publications and other typically annual publications as well as one-off publications of school histories, milestone celebrations and student work anthologies.
Yearbooks were published annually and may feature staff lists with qualifications, highlights of major events, photographs, sports teams, clubs and prefects, new buildings, major excursions, autographs and stories, poetry and art by students. The yearbook for Templestowe High School was known as Tempo.
Prospectus were typically published annually to provide a guide to prospective students about the operations and curriculum of the school and may include information on courses, organisational structure, enrolment procedures, maps, school policy and transport options.
