This series comprises documents recording financial transactions made by the Melbourne Convalescent Home for Women (VA 5292) from 1889 to 1904. The records are mostly made up of statements of receipts and expenditure for each financial year, certified by the Home’s auditors. 

For financial records from 1912 onward, researchers should refer to VPRS 19520 Annual Reports. Financial information can also be found in VPRS 19532 Summary of Expenditure Books and VPRS 19533 Summary of Revenue Books.
