This artificial record series comprises a collection of records produced, received and maintained by the Moorabbin Hospital Ladies' Auxiliary (also known as Moorabbin Hospital Ladies Aid Association), as part of the Moorabbin Hospital (VA 1250).

The records include the Auxiliary's constitution, meeting minute, annual reports and annual financial statements.

The constitution stated that the objects of the Auxiliary were to promote the welfare of Moorabbin Hospital and, in particular to (a) cooperate with the Hospital with the view to secure more widespread sympathy for its work; (b) obtain additional financial support for the Hospital; and (c) procure additional voluntary services for the Hospital.
