This series comprises volumes recording meeting minutes of the Hospital Development Committee of Prince Henry’s Hospital (previously known as Melbourne Homoeopathic Dispensary 1869-1876; Melbourne Homoeopathic Hospital 1876-1934) (VA 441). 

The committee was originally formed to consider the hospital’s requirements in relation to a convalescent unit and was originally established as a sub-committee. Its function was to consider all aspects relating to the future expansion and development of the hospital and to submit a report thereon to the hospital’s Board of Management.

The committee’s minutes for the period of 1969-1971 can be found in Minutes of Sundry Committees (VPRS 19367).
