This series comprises minutes and papers of the Brunswick Sheltered Workshops, a facility associated with the Mount Royal Hospital (VA 1280).

The Brunswick Sheltered Workshop opened in 1968. A combined project of the Rotary Club of Brunswick and Mount Royal Hospital, the largely self-supporting workshop was designed to rehabilitate physically disabled people and prepare them for industrial employment. Work contracts from local factories enabled approximately 80 employees to undertake a variety of assembling, dismantling and packaging tasks.
