This included reviewing annual financial reports for compliance with statutory requirements and accounting principles. This series comprises meeting minutes for the Finance Committee of the Mount Royal Hospital (VA 1248). Also included is a set of minutes for the Audit Committee of the Melbourne Extended Care and Rehabilitation Service (VA 5265).

The Finance Committee's function was to maintain a broad oversight of financial and budgetary arrangements to ensure that the Board of Management’s financial policies were appropriate and effective, and were being administered in accordance with sound business practices.
