Full description

The letter books contain copies of correspondence despatched from the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital (VA1254). The index in each volume indicates the various subjects and persons of interest covered in the outward letters. 

The first book commences on 14 February 1900 and concludes on 27 April 1910. The second book commences on 5 September 1910 and concludes on 28 March 1916. There a  gap of several months between the end of the first book and the beginning of the second. There may have been a book for that period that is no longer extant.
