Full description
A doctoral thesis is submitted by a student to a university for assessment in pursuit of a tertiary qualification known as a Doctor of Philosophy, or PhD. Doctoral theses consist of a dissertation or exegesis, and may be accompanied by creative works or other major works arising from a candidate's research. The disseratation or exegesis must be the product of original research by the student.
