This series comprises of books that were used to record when a person was buried in a particular compartment (denominational section) of Creswick Cemetery (VA 5208), and these details were then copied into the Register of Burials (VPRS 16436) and the Plot Books (VPRS 18441) which were used to record the specific plot within the cemetery.

Information recorded includes:
- the compartment
- register number
- name of deceased
- age of deceased
- late residence
- number on plan, date of burial, cause of death
- minister's signature
- fees paid.
