This series comprises of records documenting the employment details of staff who worked at Willsmere Hospital (VA 2840 Kew Mental/Psychiatric Hospital) for the period covered by the cards.The cards include the employees:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Private address
- Date of appointment
- Position
- Date of commencement in the position
- Salary details
- Leave details
- Date of separation from Willsmere
- Reason for separation (e.g. retirement, resignation, transfer to another agency or termination of services)
The cards may also include information of employment at another agency, higher duties information, marital status and country of birth. The cards have reference numbers and often include a PIN for identification.
Researchers should note there are some assorted cards at the front of the first box (consignment P0001, unit 1), prior to the commencement of the alphabetical sequence. These cards comprise of salary change cards and recreation leave record cards.
