This series comprises correspondence registers which record actions taken to specified correspondence.

The first volume covers the time period from 1958 to 1971. Each opening has 6 columns marked with correspondence number or file number, subject, date in (which researchers should note stopped being used in 1960), initials of employee who dealt with the correspondence, date out and action taken [remarks]. Approximately one third of the entries contain a correspondence reference number.

The second volume covers the time period from 1972 to 1987. Each opening has 6 columns marked with correspondence number or file number, Subject, Date, initials of employee who dealt with the correspondence and remarks. Approximately one third of the entries contain a correspondence reference number.

The third volume is a Correspondence [Register] - 1987 [to 1992]. Each opening has 6 columns titled Correspondence, Title, File, Initial, Date and Remarks. The latest date entered is 30 January 1992. Almost no entries contain correspondence reference numbers.
