Full description

This series records the borrowing by individuals of plans belonging to the Way and Works section within the Plan Room of the Victorian Railways, and their subsequent agencies.

Records (including drawings, maps, field note books, building plans, bridge plans) that were lent out to people were recorded under the name of the relevant railway line. Information recorded in the register includes:
- a description of the record
- a record number if there is one
- the location of the record within the plan room
- the name of the person the record was issued to
- the date of issue
- the date of return.
