This series was created, almost certainly by the Parliamentary Library, to index plans found within VPRS 20613 Surveyors Plans. This is a series of published plans containing lithographs of parish, township and selection plans published by the agencies responsible for the land survey function.

The index records the following information: name of township or parish, the county in which the township or parish is located (this is actually the title of the relevant volume in VPRS 20613 and the page numbers within that volume containing the plans. The index does not include any descriptive informative about specific plans.

It appears that the index was created alongside the pasting of plans into the volumes of VPRS 20613.
