This series comprises of Tide and Weather logs for Breakwater Pier, Victoria Dockhead, Williamstown and Port Phillip Heads, the Shipping Control Centre and from an unknown location. This series documented the weather related observations.

The information recorded was used to monitor tides for shipping.

Entries were recorded by date, with observations for Breakwater Pier, Victoria Dockhead, the Shipping Control Centre and from an unknown location made on an hourly basis. The records comprise some or all of the following details:

- Tide gauge in feet and inches
- Wind direction and velocity
- Barometer
- Thermometer
