This series consists of documents and items related to events and activities at the W J Woods School of Psychiatric Nursing at the Araradale Mental Hospital (VA 2841).

The W J Woods School of Psychiatric Nursing, also known as the W J Woods Education Centre, opened on 15 February 1979. These records document both the opening of the school and various activities throughout the life of the school.

The series includes the following:
- Signed letter of greetings from W J Woods
- B/W photograph of an address to the audience during the official opening of the W J Woods School of Nursing
- Photograph album containing photographs from the ceremonies for the official opening and photographs of patients and staff at leisure (circa 1960s)
