This series comprises of files detailing staff procedures and trainee programs at Leawarra Hostel, which was Winlation Youth Training Centre's (VA 5093) pre-release unit. The purpose of the section was to enable girls to learn independent living and coping skills in order to make a successful transition to the community. The files including procedures to prevent Aboriginal deaths in custody, and information on trainee programs e.g. Greenbrae Transitional Supervision Program.
