This series was a record of the result (sentence) of a Criminal Trial or Appeal. The Returns list the persons convicted at the sittings and were forwarded to VA 2825 Crown Law Department.

Information recorded includes:
- Name of the prisoner
- Offence for which convicted
- Sentence
- Approval, Commutation, or Direction of the Governor (one signature per page)
