The photographs in this series were produced by the Photographic Services Section of the Country Roads Board (CRB).

The images were printed from original negatives in VPRS 17684 Photographic Collection, Master Negatives and Digitised Images. They were enlarged and mounted on card for an exhibition display believed to be for either the Royal Agriculture Show or Motor Show during the 1960s.

The prints are a cross section of the collection depicting a wide range of subject matter during the 1900s including roads, bridges, vehicles, roads under construction as well as Country Roads Board offices and staff.
