This series comprises reports from the City Engineer to the Sale City Council.

The City Engineer was one of the principal executive officers employed by a municipality and reported to the Council on matters for which he/she was responsible.

The reports were handwritten until April 1953; thereafter they were typed and pasted into the books. Reports were signed by both the City Engineer and the Mayor.
